I got great news the other day!!

After years of playing life safe; not being able to stand up for myself, couldn't play contact sports ever, couldn't go swimming and so on. This all happened because of being born with congenital (born with) cholesteatoma (abnormal growth on the eardrum). I lost my left eardrum and part of my mastoid bone (bone right behind the ear that helps protect the brain), besides it entered skull and into the meninges (sac that lines the brain) causing me to leak fluid from the brain into the ear. This disease attacked both ears along with Otitis Media (inflammation of the inner ear) jumping in on the fun every now and then. This still affects me now and then, but now that my old doctors have retired and times have changed I have moved onto another doctor. This doctor (Dr. McDonald) gave me the best news ever!! He told me all of the things I was told not to do as a child was old school stuff, and that I could have done and can do now. So now I am going to live my life to the fullest and maybe become a NFL or NBA player, join the UFC fight club, go bungee jumping, sky dive, stand up for myself, scuba dive or whatever else I can dream of!!

Don't forget to repel some rock cliffs and surf the big ones on the north short of oahu. While you are at it, you might try rafting the colorado river and visiting the amazon jungle!

Oh, and don't forget to join a punk rock band.

I think I am going to. I'll make sure I post pictures. When I come down to Florida in November/December to graduate, I am going to go to Dominican Republic to stay with a friend of mine. She said she would take me diving off of really huge waterfalls, scuba dive and surf with her. I might just save up enough money to stay the whole three months that I can, there.
